Boston CyberArts is selecting short Experimental Animations and Video Art pieces to be screened in the Bright Family Screening Room at the Emerson Paramount Center.
We are looking for “art based” pieces within the theme of “radical futurism” to include within the 2026 program. These could be experimental animations (traditional or digital); sensory-based, experiential works; experimental art narratives; etc. Pieces that relate to themes within Boston’s Museum of Science; eco-futurism; social/environmental justice; or other topics from marginalized communities are encouraged.
A jury of professional Digital Media and Time-Based Artists will select pieces for (2) 30-minute programs. The budget for artist honorariums will be split equally among selected artists and may rage from $20-100 depending on the number of works in the program.
Artworks are shown in a state-of-the-art theater with stereo sound. Resolutions accepted include HD and 4k at ratios of 16:9 • 4:3 • 1:1 • 1.85:1
